Five Most Picturesque Villages in Pakistan

Pakistan boasts breathtaking scenery everywhere you look, and there is a lot for tourists to discover there. Pakistan is endowed with breathtaking places to explore and some of the most charming villages you’ve ever seen, which will simply stun and bewilder you.

The nation features a number of the most picturesque rural areas in the world, distinguishable by never-ending expanses of foliage that morph into intense crimson and reddish-orange tints as autumn advances. The majority of these settlements are situated along the sides of enormous rivers or are encompassed by massive snow-capped mountains. Others are positioned in exquisite meadows with an unending sweep of emerald greenery and gazelles, while others are stashed away in deep gorges accompanied by streams and flora.

Keep reading to learn about five of the most picturesque villages in Pakistan which you can visit to bask in the beautiful landscapes and achieve tranquility!

Arang Kel Village

In Kashmir’s Neelum Valley, at an incredible elevation, is the charming and incomparably magnificent hilltop village of Arang Kel. The boundless hills and peaks that loom eloquently in the distance never cease to amaze travelers. In addition, visitors can gawk at the encircling glaciers while they engage in the myriad vistas that somehow a single place could provide.

Trees and vegetation seem to flourish throughout every corner and crevice of the region, which is drenched in a luscious green canopy of foliage. The settlement is surrounded by charming modest roads, and given its elevation, it appears to offer a quainter outlook compared to any other place in the acclaimed Neelum Valley. So, make sure to add Arang Kel to your bucket list!

Ghizer Village

Ghizer is a picture-perfect village with a lagoon that is a brilliant blue hue that meanders through it. The settlement is based in the Gilgit-Baltistan highlands in the spectacular Phander valley. The area is encircled by magnificent snow-capped summits that are visible from a distance, granting it a mystical aura in the faint sunshine and an enigmatic appeal under the glow of the moon.

Travelers are enchanted by each and every second they invest in this harmony of the essence since it is enveloped by majestic trees, marshes that flutter to the rhythms of the breeze, and innumerable attractive wildflower meadows that emerge beside the stream. Ghizer Village is an enchanting place that is a must-visit and should not be missed during your Pakistan trip.

Ganish Village

The Hunza Valley’s oldest and initial settlement on the historical Silk Road, Ganish is close to the magnificent Hunza river and is home to a number of historic bastions, medieval mosques, religious buildings, and a lake. The village has a historical encyclopedia and is acknowledged as a repository for the classical antiquity of the Silk Route, which has been utilized by tourists for ages. It is a modest, wonderful community with mosques that trace back hundreds of years. Gorgeous, lofty trees surround it, and as the weather changes, they take on a variety of hues resembling changes in momentum.

The inhabitants who have dwelt there for several years have maintained the village’s cultural heritage intact, and it is also conspicuously represented by the colossal buildings that their forefathers established. The village appears to be a scene from a piece of artwork owing to its rich history and culture, in addition to the prominence of the mountain peaks as well as the huge stream against the foreground of vibrantly colored foliage. Ganish Village is the perfect place for history aficionados that would be pleased to see what the settlement has to offer.

Passu Village

Only a few kilometers away from the neighborhood of Gulmit, Passu Village is situated on the shoulder of the Karakoram Highway as one proceeds from Hunza to Khunjerab Pass. In the idyllic Passu Village, residents cultivate the most delectable organic foods on tiered fields of luxuriant vegetation. It is flanked by outstanding natural elements on all dimensions, including the Passu Glacier across one side and the iconic Passu Cones, also known as the Passu Cathedral on the other. These snow-covered alps are among the most spectacular summits that nature has ever sculpted. You’ll be stopped in your tracks with just one look at them since they fervently scream the dreadful magnificence of nature. The community is peaceful, and one entire side is bordered by a stunning, dynamic river. There are lots of hillsides, plants, and other unique aesthetic features that are exceedingly difficult to come across nowadays.

Birir Village

In the Chitral district, the charming settlement of Birir is tucked away in the Kalash Valley. It is a treasure trove of a culture where women are distinguished for their distinctive attire embellished with vivid shades of pink and yellows and for donning chic hats with feathery decorations on their hair. Soft green meadows, leaping marshes, and a stream filled with its own life force encircle the entire community. There are extensive tiered pastures that give the village’s overall attractive environment a dreamy atmosphere.

Conclusion

Visit northern Pakistan to have a once-in-a-lifetime vacation and explore all of these beautiful and lovely places. We promise you’ll have a terrific time there!

We were a group of friends traveled with Exploria to the heavenly Northern Pakistan. The company made sure our tour experience goes smoothly. Accommodation, food, and the vehicle was the best. The trip was quite a challenge for Exploria due to the weather fluctuations however, the company made sure all things go smoothly. Thanks Exploria for an amazing tour experience. I would certainly recommend Exploria to all my friends and family.

I messaged Exploria in WhatsApp and got into contact with someone who introduced himself as Ashraf, one of the owners. On a Friday night I secured a booking for Monday for a day tour of Islamabad. I signed off with, "I'm looking forward to meeting you. See you Monday." On Sunday night I got a message asking if I was still interested in the tour because "I haven't heard back from you." I messaged back late night/early morning because of the timing of my flight and surprisingly heard from Ashraf. When I arrived in Islamabad, I messaged Ashraf at our appointed meeting time that I was in my hotel room and ready to meet when he was ready. I heard nothing back. I sent a brief query then took a nap. When I awoke, two hours after our scheduled meeting, still no response. So, I contacted the manager of the hotel and asked if he could suggest a tour for me. I was staying at a 5-star hotel (1st night only), so the manager took it upon himself to try and sort the issue with Exploria first. After several phone calls to both Ashraf's phone and the company's landline, I got one message from Ashraf stating he thought I didn't want the tour. At this point, the hotel manager had been contacting both numbers asking if someone was coming for my tour -- clearly I still wanted the tour! When I messaged that fact to Ashraf, he went radio silent again. Meanwhile, I had my tour of Islamabad with a guide the hotel set up -- at a much reduced rate. That evening I had a couple back-and-forths with Ashraf about how he thought I didn't want the tour because I "never got back to him." He kept doubling down that the communication issue was my fault despite my clear messaging and calls from the manager of a 5-star hotel! The cautionary tale is this: Mine was just a one-day tour, so my trip to Pakistan wasn't ruined. However, imagine if I'd secured their services for one of those multi-day, multi-location tours, and they left me stranded that way after I'd already arrived in the country. In short, I would be very leery of a company that has no problem ghosting a customer on the very day of a scheduled excursion.

Still in awe after watching picturesque sights at Hunza It was our company (Cricingif) trip managed by the cordial staff of Exploria. The AC coaster bus was in good condition and we didn't experience any problems in our journey to Gilgit Baltistan from Lahore. The hotels that they booked for us were good and I really enjoyed the indigenous music performance at Heavens Lodge hotel. Food was fine too as I was concerned about the hygiene, but it all turned out fine in the end. They can improve in the realm of guiding tourists at the spots that they take us to and share interesting insights about all those spectacular places in the beautiful Hunza valley. Nanga Parbat, Rakaposhi, Husseini Bridge, Forts, and Attabad Lake are all worth watching. I see Exploria becoming a top-notch company very soon if they continue to focus on providing immaculate services and keep customer satisfaction high. Thank you for a memorable trip!
