Babusar Top or Babusar Pass usually opens in June and it closes in October every year. The exact dates cannot be predicted because of the snow conditions but these are the months when it usually opens and closes

It is safe to travel to Hunza by road via Babusar pass and Karakoram highway. However, it is recommended to avoid traveling via Babusar pass in October as we have experienced some snatching and crime activities near the pass when there is minimum traffic Passage through the way. 

Also, ensure the vehicle is in good condition if you are traveling by yourself. 

Altitude sickness can be a concern, especially when visiting high-altitude areas like Khunjerab Pass and Babursar Pass. It's advisable to acclimatize, stay hydrated, and consult a healthcare professional if needed.
