Popular Honeymoon Destinations in Pakistan

Below is a list of the popular honeymoon destinations in Pakistan.

1. Hunza and Naltar Valley

If you are looking for the best honeymoon destination within Pakistan, it is Hunza Valley for many good reasons. It is one of the most popular honeymoon destinations because it has so much to offer in all four seasons. Hunza Valley is located in the farthest north of Pakistan connecting borders with China. Imagine, on an hour’s flight from Islamabad, you get more than 15 attractions, lakes, glaciers, hikes, culture, Historic resorts, snowfall, beautiful nature, rivers, loving locals and so much more. Simply, the region has to offer something to the people of all sorts. So you won’t get bored even if you stretch the tour for up to 15 days or even more.

Why Hunza Valley is the best for a Honeymoon Tour?

  1. Hunza Valley has some of the most amazing attractions and landmarks like Attabad Lake, Borith Lake, Historic Forts, Naltrar Valley, Khunjerab Pass, and many others and you don’t have to travel long distances to reach all these attractions.
  2. It has some of the most exotic Resorts and hotels and other experiences that are the perfect fit for Honeymooners.
  3. The region has quite diverse activities and experiences to offer especially in summer. Some of the activities and experiences that we offer to the honeymooners are Cultural immersive experiences, River rafting, Skiing, Channel walks and hikes, traditional food experiences, camping in nature, stays in experiential resorts, musical nights with bonfires, and much more.
  4. Friendly and progressive locals who won’t interfere in your personal space so you are free to enjoy your honeymoon experience.
  5. You will get the best pictures, and enjoy hygienic and diverse food hence you will make great memories
  6. The infrastructure is great so are the services. The roads and resorts are so amazing.
  7. It is hardly an hour’s flight from Islamabad.
  8. You can explore Naltar, Fairy Meadows, and Skardu on the same tour by adding extra days.

Cons of Honeymoon in Hunza Valley

  1. To get the best experience of Hunza, you are recommended to travel by air.  Therefore the overall cost of the tour will be comparatively higher. The same is the case for the Skardu tour as well however, a Boeing flight operates to Skardu so chances of flight cancellation to Skardu are lesser than in Gilgit.
  2. Flights are subject to weather. In the case of flight cancellation, you will have to take a long road trip via Naran or Besham. In the summers, it’s fun to travel by Naran but the Besham route is dry so you will have to bear a road trip of up to 12 hours.
  3. Some of the hotels, eateries, and activities remain closed in December, and January so make sure to contact us before booking your honeymoon for winter in Hunza. Our expert team in Hunza is familiar with the situation on the ground.

If it is still hard for you to decide which place to choose for your honeymoon, here is an explanation for it.

Hunza and Skardu are located in Gilgit Baltistan in the extreme north of Pakistan which has a different terrain from the rest of the honeymoon destinations listed above. The mainstream areas in Hunza and Skardu are gigantic mountain ranges and the peaks of them are mostly snow-covered. Between these mountains are lush green valleys, lakes, rivers, glaciers, and deserts. To reach the lush green meadows, like Fairy Meadows, Basho Meadows, and Naltar you will have to reach the altitude by taking 4×4 Jeeps mostly. So when you are in Gilgit Baltistan you will experience diverse landscapes but it will take long road trips to reach here unless you don’t travel by Air.

However, Swat, Kalam, Murree, Nathia Gali Naran Kaghan, and Kashmir are alpine regions. Most of them have similar landscapes i.e. lush green forests in the mountains with beautiful scenery. Rivers, Lakes, jungles, and mountains are most common in this.
